Complete removal of germs inside the root canal
Removal of smear layer
Drying out of canals – better adaption of filling
Disinfection of inaccessible tubuli
Additional bio stimulation of periapical environment
Penetration depth of diode laser > 1 mm is much higher than of chemical disinfectans
