The VELAS15D diode laser is the perfect tool for the treatment of venous insufficiency (varicosis) and is the alternative to traditional vein stripping. Due to the between five and ten times higher absorption in the blood and vessel wall compared to 810–1320 nm wavelengths, theVELAS15D– combined with radial emission fibres – is superbly suited to minimally invasive and effective vascular surgery with little tissue damage.
