The procedure with GBOX/VELAS  laser consists of the retraction of the uvula using energy in interstitial mode. Laser energy heats the tissue without damaging the skin surface, promoting its contraction and a greater openness of the nasopharyngeal space to facilitate the passage of air and reduce snoring. Depending on the case, the problem may be solved in a single treatment session or may require several applications of laser, until the desired tissue contraction is achieved. Optimum wavelength
VELASII-30B works with a 980nm laser diode, the optimal wavelength for disc decompression. Its greater absorption by the chromophore water (five times more than 810nm laser and double than 1064nm) makes that less laser energy is needed to perform treatments, spreading lower heat to surrounding tissue and reducing side effects.

Onychomycosis Laser Therapy

Onychomycosis means fungal infection of the nail. It is the most common disease of the nails and constitutes about a half of all nail abnormalities. This condition may affect toenails or fingernails. It is estimated to affect nearly 10% of the general population, with the incidence rising to nearly 30%, in patients over age 60.

With only partial efficacy and various side effects from pharmaceutical options, laser treatment is fast becoming the option of choice for nail fungus eradication. 980nm/1064nm wavelength laser has demonstrated superior results in nail fungus removal, showing safety and efficacy. It provides excellent results with deep penetration, ensuring effective treatment through the nail, without impacting other surrounding structures.
